My Chemistry Story
My fascination with chemistry started back in 10th-grade, when a standout teacher showed me how a few simple experiments could explain so many cool things about the world around us.
That spark grew into a habit of helping friends after school, and by freshman year at Drexel, I was the guy filling a dorm-lounge whiteboard the night before every general-chem exam.
My Credentials
B.S. Chemistry Education — Drexel University, 2011
M.Ed. Teaching Education — Cabrini University, 2016
Certified Chemistry Teacher — Pennsylvania & Delaware
Stepping into Worldwide Tutoring
I began paid tutoring at Drexel’s Learning Center in 2007 and joined Wyzant in 2013 for in-person sessions.
Since then I have:
Taught high-school chemistry and physical science in West Philadelphia.
Guided undergrads at Saint Joseph’s, Villanova, and my own alma mater.
Moved my practice online, working with students in NY, PA, NJ, CA, AZ, and GA — and growing.
Led Chemistry 1 and AP Chemistry at Odessa High School in Townsend, Delaware, where I also coach wrestling.

Results I’m Proud Of
Since launching our AP program in 2022, every student I’ve coached has passed, and 7 of 14 earned a 5 last year — beating state and global averages by more than a full point.
No one has ever scored below a 3.
What Sets My Tutoring Apart
I’m a licensed teacher, not just a grad student.
17+ years of tutoring experience across high-school through organic chemistry.
Flexible hours—8 AM – 10 PM ET, seven days a week
Small-group option when you and a classmate want to team up for a lower rate.
